1.Sri Kshiraramalingeshwara Swamy Temple, Palakollu.
- Ksheerarama is one of the five Pancharama Kshetras that are sacred to the Hindu god Shiva. The temple is located in Palakollu of West Godavari in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Shiva is known locally as Ksheera Ramalingeswara Swamy. It is believed that staying one day in Kshirarama is equivalent to staying one year in Varanasi. It is one of the centrally protected monuments of national importance.
- It is one of the five powerful Shiva temples in Southern India that form the “Pancharama Kshetram”. The remaining four are Somarama Temple in Bhimavaram; Draksharama Temple in Draksharamam; Kumararama Temple in Samalkota; and Amararama Temple in Amaravati, state of Andhra Pradesh.

2.Sri Someswara Janardhana Swamy Temple, Bhimavaram.
- Gunupudi Someswara Janardhana Swamy Temple is located in Bhimavaram, West Godavari district of Andhrapradesh in India. This place is well known for the temple ‘Somarama’ which is considered as one of the Five Pancharama temples. Sri Someshwara Janardhana swamy temple is Located at Bhimavaram with a very good bus and train facility from all other places of India. An Other Pancharama Kshetra ‘Ksheerarama’ is located at Palakollu just 20Kms away. The attraction of
- Bhimavaram is spiritual as the temple dedicated to Lord Shiva, Sri Someswara Janardhana swamy. The main contribution for temple construction was made by the King Chalukya Bheema during 4th century. The Shiva lingam is called someshwara as it is believed that this lingam has been installed by Lord Chandra. The colour of the linga changes during full moon day and Amavasya. Goddess Annapurna temple is situated just above the Garbalayam saying that Lord Shiva holds the Goddess Ganga on his head this cannot be seen anywhere else in India.. To the South of the Garbha Gruham, Goddess Adilakshmi can be seen and wedding hall at ground and first floor are constructed. Marriages are conducted both in the new hall and also in Goddess Annapurna mantapam. To the East side of this temple, there is a Pushkarini pond which is also called Soma Gundam. Inside the temple, Lord Anjaneya Swamy, God Kumara Swamy, Navagraha, Sun God, Lord Ganesha can also be seen. In front of the main entrance, 15ft pillar is constructed.

3.MAVULLAMMA AMMAVARI TEMPLE, BHIMAVARAM
- The temple history of Jaganmatha Sri Mavullamma came to limelight in the year 1880 AD, since then only the temple history is available to us. It is believed that she is laid in Motupallivari street, under couple of pipal and Neem tree. Every year in the month of “Jyesta masa” (third month of auspicious Telugu almanac calendar) on “Paadyami” (new slender crescent moon day). A devotee (worshippers) celebrates one month long celebration in this month. There is a festive look every where in and around the town. The Devastanam (Temple committee) and local fruit and vegetable trader’s committee felicitates artists, actors, actresses, musicians, great men of all walks of the life.

4. Sri Vasavi Kanyakaparameshwari Ammavari Temple, Penugonda:
- South India is the Treasure House of many temples, among them Sri Vasavi Kanyaka Parameswari temple situated in Penugonda, a town in the West Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. The temple is a fascinating multi-colored (Gali Gopuram) seven storied tower with a beautiful architecture. This Penugonda Kshetram is considered as the ‘Kasi of Vysyas’ and is a holy place for Vysyas.
- Kusuma Sresti or Setty was the Setty king of Vysyas also known as Pedda Setty (Elder among Settys) who’s territory was a Vassal state of Vangi Desa (Vanga Kingdom), which was ruled by Vishnu Vardhana (Vimaladitya Maharaja). His capital was Penugonda (Jestasailam) city for all the 18 paraganas during 10th and 11th century A.D. He and his wife Kusumamba were considered an ideal couple and led a peaceful domestic life. They worshiped Lord Siva (Nageswara Swamy) as the part of their daily duties.
- Though they had been married for many years, the couple did not have peace of mind as there was no successor to the kingdom. Their many prayers and sacrifices did not bear fruit and hence they were grief stricken. They approached their Kula guru (family teacher) Bhaskara Acharya also a Komati who was well versed in shastras and by virtue of his profession was treated as a Komati Brahman. He advised them to perform Puthra Kamesti Yaga, which Dasharatha had observed.
- During the auspicious hour, the couple started the yoga. The Gods were pleased and sent prasadam (blessed fruit from god) through Yagneswara (fire God). They were told that they would beget children after eating prasadam. With devotion they ate the Prasadam and within a few days the signs of pregnancy were found with Kusumamba. She expressed unusual desires, which indicated that she would give birth to children who would fight for the welfare of all.

5.Sri Rameshwaraswamy Temple, Natha Rameshwaram
- Natta Rameswaram Temple, Penumantra Mandal, West Godavari Dist. – Two main temples dedicated to Shiva are there in the same complex. One Linga installed by Shri Parasurama in the middle of Goasthani and the same was witnessed by Sapta Koti Rishies so the temple got the name of Saptakoteswara Linga temple. As the temple is in the Goastani water, piligrims can do abhishekam and puja during the telugu month of VAISAKHAM ( i.e in the middle of May/June )only. All the remaining months the Saptakoteswara Linga will be under the waters of Gostani. Another Linga is installed by Lord Rama. So the temple got the name Ramalingeswara Swamy. Here Linga made of shells and conches, so it is called as Natta Rameswaram. You can visit this temple through out the year. According to the Juttiga Inscriptions, this temple was reconstructed on the Orders of Khulli Padusha on 15th September 1583.
- The temple complex is on the bank of Gosthani River. Thousands of devotees congregate here on Maha Shivaratri day to take a dip in the Gosthani River. Rathotsavam is also performed on Shivarathri Day. Nearest Railway station is Manchili. Number of trains to Manchili is very less. So piligrims reach TADEPALLIGUDEM by train and catch RTC BUS going to MARTERU OR NARSAPURAM and get down at Natta Rameswaram. Hire a Auto or Riksha to reach Natta Rameswaram Temple.
- Juttiga & Natta Rameswaram are twin Villages assumed religious importance on account of the temples of Swayambhulingam known as Sri Uma Vasuki Ravi Someswara Swamy at Juttiga Village and Natta Ramalingeswara Swamy at Natta Rameswaram Village. Every “SIVARATHRI” Festival day “Edurukolotsavam” is being celebrated at the border place of two villages. Thousands of Piligrims attend to that celebrations. It is one of the important piligrim centre in the District.
One who visit this temple will also visit the temple of Sri Uma Vasuki Ravi Someswara Swamy, Juttiga, just 2 KM away from Natta Rameswaram temple.
6. Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple, Kallakuru.
- As per the local folklore, Sridhar a Brahmin and a devotee of Lord Venkateswara used to live in Tirumala Hills. Padmavati, a Gandharva Kanya used to play a musical instrument Veena in front of the Lord in the Sanctum Sanctorum. Once Sridhara got attracted to Padmavati and proposed to marry her. Padmavati rejected the proposal for which he got angered and cursed the lady. The lady, in turn, cursed him. To get rid of the Curse, they both prayed for the Lord and Lord told them that Padmavati will take the form of a River near to river Godavari and Sridhara will be born to a Brahmin couple in Karnataka.
- AsKarnataka, Padmavati took the form of a river near Godavari and Sridhara after his pilgrimage reached the banks of Padmavati river. Lord appeared in the dreams of Sridhara and revealed his whereabouts. Sridhara recovered the Idol from Asvadda Tree which is on the west to the river Padmavati. On installing the Idol and performing Abhishekam with the water from the river Padmavati, they both relieved from the curse.
- Several years after Idol installation, the Idol submerged into the soil. It went deep into the soil till Stomach. As the Lord’s holy feet went under the earth, hence the name Kallakuru.

7.Sri Bandi Mutyalamma Talli Temple, Mutyalapalli:
- Sri Bandi Muthyalamma Temple is in Mutyalapalli, Mogalthur West Godavari District. Andhra Pradesh State in India. The temple is famous and very nice to visit this devotional place and is believed as a powerful goddess.

- Narasapuram Lace Park:Introduced in the middle of the 19th Century to provide employment to the poverty-stricken women of the area, lace work was, to start with, sent to friends and relatives abroad as gifts which were highly appreciated. Starting with a mere dozen designs, the local skills were used to evolve as many as 300 designs over the years which speaks of the high artistic sense of the artisans.
- The raw materials and implements required for this industry are simple, consisting of only a hooked needle and cotton thread. The thread used is twisted mercerised cotton yarn made out of superior grade cotton. The craft is carried on by thousands of women working part time at their homes in Narsapur and Palakollu areas of West Godavari District.
