MID DAY MEAL:

 

The Mid Day Meal in the district is being supplied regularly without any interruption as per guidelines of Government,  to  2,86,653 students of Primary, Upper primary and High schools (Government/ZP/Municipal/Aided) in the respective schools by different implementing agencies.

  • SHG groups / implementing agencies (CCH’s) shall cook MDM in the school premises only.
  • Good Sanitation and Cleanliness has been maintained in the premises of the school and also at the place where food is being cooked, ensuring there is no stagnant water.
  • Cooking and serving utensils should be properly cleaned after use and dried every day before and after use.
  • Only fresh vegetables are to be used and vegetables are to be washed properly before cutting in salt water and cut on a mat or mattress.
  • LPG should be  used to cook food.
  • The cook cum helpers must ensure utmost personal hygiene, and they should wash their hands daily with / detergent, before starting cooking of MDM.
  • Ensure that children wash everyday their hands with soap before and after taking MDM.
  • Proper sanitation facilities are also to be provided for the children.
  • The Commissioner of School Education, A.P., Amaravathi has issued orders vide Rc.No. 100/MDM/2018, Dated.01/11/2018, for procurement and supply of Eggs to the schools under the scheme Mid-Day Meal to the existing agency i.e. M/s. United Traders, Visakhapatnam, w.e.f 01-11-2018 to 31-01-2019.
  • The Government issued orders to ensure that the 5 eggs are per week per child are provided to the children under MDM immediately. The eggs shall be served everyday from Monday to Friday in a week. In case there is any holiday in those five days in any week, the eggs shall be served on Saturday also.
  • The Government issued orders to ensure that the eggs are qualitative and the weight of the eggs is between 45-52 gms.
  • Tender Called for Through AP E-procurement.

 

 

TO BE ESTABLISHMENT OF CLUSTER CENTRALIZED KITCHEN CUM STORES IN THE DISTRICT

 

  • EKTHA SHAKTHI, DELHI: Government have accorded permission to establish the 05 Clusters Centralized Kitchen serve Mid Day Meals to the children of 1070 Schools of 18 Mandals in the District. At present 6 Mandals have been covered in 3 Cluster Centralized Kitchen at Eluru, Undi, Yarranagudem.

 

  • RMSA  – WEST GODAVARI DISTRICT

BADIKOSTA:

It is submitted that the Government have sanctioned the Bicycles for the year 2018-2019 to the Gils students, who are studying in class VIII and IX in all Secondary  Schools in the district. Details are as follows.

  1. No.of bicycles sanctioned: 33,490
  2. No.of Bicycles distributed: 30,896
  3. No.of Bicycles balances :   2,594.

 

SELF DEFENSE PROGRAMME :

It is submitted that as per the instructions issued by the Commissioner of School Education & Ex-Officio Project Director, RMSA, Ibrahimpatnam, A.P   through Procs. Rc.No.1146/132.b/RMSA/2018, Dated.01.12.2018 the Self Defense Training Programme for the girl students of classes 8th and 9th in Secondary Schools and 11th & 12th Standards in Higher Secondary Schools was conducted in West Godavari District under RMSA through BIMA(Bandi Institute of Martial Arts) agency

LIFE  SKILLS AND CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAMME :

It is submitted that as per the instructions issued by the Commissioner of School Education & Ex-Officio Project Director, RMSA, Ibrahimpatnam, A.P    through Procs. Rc.No. Procgs.Rc.No.823/RMSA/B/2017 Dt.13-12-2018 the Medhavi Professional Services Pvt. Ltd., (iDream Career) agency has conducted Life Skills & Career Guidance for Holistic development approach among the students of Class IX and X studying in Government Secondary Schools (all Managements) in West Godavari District under RMSA.

Teachers In-service Training:

It is submitted that as per the instructions issued by the Director, SCERT and as per the note orders of the Collector and Chairman, RMSA, West Godavari District, the In-Service Teachers’ Training Programme was conducted in West Godavari District in spell-I From 09-10-2018 to 13-10-2018 and spell-2 from 15-11-2018 to 19-11-2018 at Divisional Levels.
