In this Scheme Students   Who are studying From 1st to 10th  are getting shoe Note Books, Bag,Uniform ,Shoe, socks, Belt, And for 1st class students Pictorial Dictionary  and Oxford dictionary is for 6th class students. Each kit Worth Rs.1806 and in this Academic year 2024-25 kits 99034 have been Distributed among Total District. And this scheme is extended to 10+1 and 10+2 students also, for them Note books and bags, Text Books.

Vocational Courses:

There are 25 Schools have been Handling Vocational Courses   In PM SHRI School Scheme. In these Schools There are 9 Different trades in these courses.(ELECTRONICS AND HARDWARE, IT/ITeS, ELECTRONICS, AGRICULTURE, BFSI, FOOD PROCESSING, BUATEY AND WELLNESS,RETAIL,AUTOMOTIVE).

 

 

Inclusive Education to Children with Special Needs (CwSN) Children

BHAVITHA: Bhavitha Centres are the Special Schools for CwSN (Children with Special Needs). There are 20 Bhavitha Centres established in West Godavari District.

  • There are 40 Special Education Teachers are working for each school 2 Teachers. And also there are 26 IED Teachers (School Assistant) working in High Schools where the highest number of CwSN Children enrolled schools. There are 20 Aayahs are working in 20 Bhavitha Centres to help the CwSN children.
  • There are total 3283 children are studying in various schools in the district out of that nearly 380 children are in 20 Bhavitha Centres
  • Physiotherapy camps are conducting in each mandal per month 4 camps to the Locomotor and Orthopedic children. For this there are 7 Physiotherapists are engaged in the District.
  • Home based education is providing to the severe disabled children.
  • Transport, Escort and Home based allowances are sanctioned and distributed through DBT for the CwSN children given in the following table.

As of November 2024, 25  schools in West Godavari have been selected for the Prime Minister’s Schools for Rising India (PM SHRI) scheme:

Goal

The scheme aims to transform schools into “exemplar” institutions that nurture students to become engaged, productive, and contributing citizens.

Selection

Schools compete for support through a transparent challenge method.

Funding

The scheme is spread over five years at a cost of ₹27,360 crore all over India with the Centre contributing 60% of the funding.

  • Smart classrooms
