Apart from regular coaching activities the following sports activities also organized/conducted every year on the instructions issued by the Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh from time to time.
- Annual Summer Coaching Camps in Rural & Urban Areas in every year from 1st to 31st May in various Sports & Games basing on the popularity of the particular camp venue.
- Conduct District selections in various disciplines and to depute selected teams for participating in State level Rural/Khelo India Games, Women Sports and C.M Cup.
- Conduct selections at District level for admission into State level Sports School/Academies.
- Conduct District level Civil Services Sports and depute the selected teams for State level Civil Service Tournaments.
- Celebrate National Sports Day on the Birth Anniversary of Hockey Legend Major Dhyan chand, Celebrate Yoga Day and celebrate Olympic day.
- Conduct of District level League Championships as per the SAAP guidelines.
- Any other Sports Activities on the direction of SAAP, Vijayawada.
- Kum. Dandi Jyothika Sri is an athlete of West Godavari District who specializes in 4 X 400 mts relay events. She is current selected for Women 4 X 400 mtrs relay event in the Paris Olympics 2024 being held at Paris from 26th July 2024 to 11th August 2024.
- Students from West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, participated in the National School Games in the under-14 and under-17 boys and girls categories. These talented athletes showcased their skills and sportsmanship in various events conducted as part of the tournament.
- It is submitted that our District Players secured 10 Gold Medals, 10 Silver medals, 10 Bronze Medals at various State level competitions.
- Ms. Surya Hamsini, a talented young archer from Bhimavaram. She has recently brought great pride to our town by winning four gold medals at the National Level School Games held in Gujarat in the second week of November 2024.
